On Saturday, Mr G and I decided to get out of town. We needed to get away from the daily grind that we all feel, laundry, mowing the lawn, etc. as well as our addiction to our electronics. Well, okay, that's me that has the addiction to my electronics and I had to catch my breath when Mr G said "No electronics!" Anyway, I was thrilled to be getting out of town. We drove to Terrace Lakes up by Garden Valley, Idaho to spend the day with family, it was so relaxing! The weather was more than perfect at 74 degrees and just being in the mountains breathing that clean air can do your soul some good. I took my camera with the intent to take many pictures of the beautiful surroundings of trees and wild spring flowers, but the beauty of this baby, baby Gary, caught me and I was hooked. This is our Nephew's boy who is just approaching 7 months old. Is he just the cutest? I will have to make another trip to capture the beautiful scenery.
Great photography doesn’t take fancy equipment or college degrees—just passion and a willingness to invest in yourself and in the memories you’ll be preserving for generations to come.
