Hot Shot Friday | Week 1 Inspiration
In the world of photography, we never stop learning nor do we ever become relaxed in our skill sets. As I thought about how I could be accountable to myself for continuing my personal journey and skills, I was reminded how important it is to share what I know with YOU. So, I am excited to announce that I will be posting an image each week in "Hot Shot Friday". I promise to share my insights about the image itself and my photography experience for the week. I hope you will stick with me on Friday's in hopes that you will learn something new. Who knows, you may just want to get involved in this journey to improve your photography as well. I just love learning and it's all about practice, practice, practice. I invite you along for the journey as well. I will post each weeks Hot Shot image and announce the next weeks title so that you will have a week to capture your image. This will be a great time to ask questions or shoot just for fun. So, no matter your skill level, join in. Pictures do not need to be edited, the goal is to practice, get to know your camera better (it's like a romance you know) and advance in your skills. I look forward to learning from you as well.
One of my favorite places for photo shoots in downtown Boise is Freak Alley. It is one place that really inspires me. I am amazed at the artists vision with this "Dream" work of art and I often wonder what this represents for this unknown artist. For me, it represents the very core of what makes life so great! Without dreams, there is no hope. The dreams that live inside me and all of the dreams that have come to fruition are many. I find myself drawn to this picture and you can be sure that this is going to print and will be sitting on a side table in my office. Now, this is inspiration.
